Change for Tonight and Beyond

Dear All,
Due to an unfortunate turn of events, I am no longer involved in the Crossfire project, and will not be at this evening's show at Coffee Garden. To the best of my knowledge, Steven and Bryan will however still be there, and I wish them the best with tonight's performance and beyond.

My split from Crossfire was due to a failure to see eye to eye over some of the business aspects of the project. Please let it be known that I have the utmost respect for Steven as a guitarist, as a composer/songwriter, and as a singer. I'm proud of what he and I accomplished together, and also proud of the tremendous work he's done on his own, especially as regards the refinement and expansion of his vocal abilities, which I now consider more refined and versatile than my own. I also appreciate the contributions he's made musically to my own musical body of work, lending his improvisational guitar talents to my original songs both live and in the studio.

In the brief time I've worked with Bryan, I have only kind things to say about him and his musical abilities.

Thanks to them both for having worked with me, and thanks to everyone who's ever come out to a Crossfire show or otherwise expressed interest or encouragement for the project.

I'll most likely be taking an indefinite break from public music performance, which is alright with me; at age 40, I've been running around the local scene now for nearly fifteen years, and think I need a break.

Take Care All and Best Wishes,

Paul S.
