Upcoming Late July Events

Thanks to everyone who came out to The Spot for one or, in the case of two dedicated individuals, BOTH nights of the Great American Food Festival. It was a lot of work putting together a two-night, multi-act show in the middle of summer vacation season, but somehow after dozens of emails, text messages, and phone calls it all came together and went well.

I'm happy to announce two more July events. First, on Saturday July 18th, the Johnny Elliott Band -- with me on bass guitar -- will be playing for several hours at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor in Jackson NJ. While my vocals have taken a back seat recently -- I have purposely taken a temporary break from pushing my singing (I needed a break) -- I'm happy to say that my bass playing, while still having much room for improvement, is easily the best it has ever been, given my steady work with not just Johnny Elliott but also Steven Paul.

Second, on Friday July 31st, the double whammy of my classical guitar act and my duo project CROSSFIRE will be making a return appearance at Auburn Road Vineyard's wine bar. Given how my rehearsing hours have been spent recently, there's a good chance that this CROSSFIRE set will be heavier on Steven's blues material than on my material, so if you like the blues then you'll want to catch the set.

More details on both shows will follow very soon, with the basic outline of events here: http://www.paulsehnen.com/node/242.

Best Regards,

Paul S
