Hi All, I wanted to let you know about three upcoming events for August 2008.

This Friday, the 15th, I'll be playing bass in the Steven Paul Band at Coffee Garden in Audubon NJ. Originially we were supposed to have a drummer for this show, but after the drummer insisted on complaining about my "hopeless" bass playing for many consecutive weeks, I quit the band... and then within 24 hours of my departure the drummer quit also... at which point I rejoined the band... so now Steven and I are playing a band gig with no drummer. Aren't bands fun?

Next Thursday, the 21st, I'll be playing for two hours at Neena's Brick Oven Restaurant in Sewell NJ. For the first hour I'll be in solo classical mode, delivering my longest-ever classical set from memory (no sheet music... wish me luck). For the second hour, I'll be joined by Steven for a CROSSFIRE set, heavy on ballads and the softer side of Crossfire, given the setting.

On the last weekend of August, I'll be playing a 45-minute solo set at Best of the West at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson NJ. Johnny Elliott and John Shaughnessy will also play solo sets of 45 minutes each. I'm in the process of confirming the date (Saturday 30th or Sunday 31st)...
