Come on out to this cozy new venue for a relaxing evening of acoustic music by Coffee House Players Carolyn Cosden and Paul Sehnen.
Carolyn Cosden is a singer/songwriter with a great voice and above average guitar skills. Her style has been described by some as "emo," but in my opinion she brings more musicality and musical prowess to the game than might be typical of performers in that genre, for instance covering -- respectably well -- "The Wind Cries Mary" by Jimi Hendrix. When Carolyn is joined by her sister Ashley Cosden on vocals -- as she will be for some or all of this show -- the two voices blend to haunting and mesmerizing effect.
For my part, I'll deliver my first set on nylon-stringed classical guitar, and my second set on steel-stringed acoustic guitar. Steven Paul, the other half of my Crossfire duo, will play electric lead guitar for me during my second set.
Admission is free, and this should be a great show, so if you're available please stop in for a coffee or tea and some great music.
