Come out for my first concert production at Studio LuLoo Arts Center.
Opening the show will be Main Street, the acoustic rock trio of Bill Begley, Tom Begley, and Mike Benkovic. I met Bill Begley in the summer of 2007 at Stir It Up in Mullica Hill, first as a solo performer, then later in a duo act with Tom. It did not take me long to decide that Bill was someone with whom I wanted to do shows, and I am looking forward to hearing him with his new trio act.
Next in the lineup is Crossfire, my duo act with blues guitarist Steven Paul, which now sometimes includes Johnny Elliott on percussion. Crossfire has made great strides in the first months of this new year, and Steven and I are looking forward to another opportunity to push our game forward.
Third in the lineup is Johnny Elliott Band, consisting of guitarist/singer/songwriter Johnny Elliott backed up by John Shaughnessy on drums and myself on bass guitar. After years of playing in solo and duo formats, Johnny Elliott and I are both excited to have the chance to rock out in a band configuration with Mr. Shaughnessy powering a drum kit behind us. We'll play mostly Johnny Elliott originals, with a couple of tasty covers thrown in.
The show will be closed by the awesome JeNell and the Yets, in their second appearance at Studio LuLoo. JatY is a great act with catchy tunes, powerful vocals, and top notch drumming. They are making a name for themselves in the Delaware Valley through gigging and also through airplay now on 93.7 FM WSTW. As much as I will enjoy performing in Crossfire and again in the Johnny Elliott Band, I will be especially thrilled to work the soundboard for JeNell & the Yets.
