It is the evening of Sunday October 3rd, and Paul is back in South Jersey, jotting down some highlights of his recent experiences in Huntingdon and the surrounding area.

Late on Thursday September 30th Paul made the trip from Mount Laurel NJ out to Huntingdon PA. Along the way Paul made his routine stop at Stop 35, where he was pleasantly surprised by both the pizza burger and the pepper slaw.

Paul rolled into Huntingdon around midnight, tired from the drive, as well as from the presidential debate which he'd caught on the radio. Actually Paul only caught about the first 2/3 of the debate... purposely shutting it off near 10 PM out of embarrassment and fatigue. Curtis' parents provided the usual comfortable guest room, and Paul was happy to have it.

Curtis and Paul return to Joy Beans. This time rather than playing separate sets these two gluttons for punishment will share the proverbial stage for the duration of the show, taking turns at song delivery. Should be a hoot... and an excuse to drink a latte.

Tonight I noticed that the Cintron Band link of my Links page no longer leads to anything useful. I remember back in the spring hearing Edgardo Cintron saying that his band would be taking some months to tour elsewhere -- Florida, and/or Mexico if I recall correctly -- however I don't understand why their web site would have disappeared just because they decided to go on tour. If anyone has any idea as to how to answer the question, Where's Edgardo, feel free to drop me a line...

Paul is pleased to announce an upcoming gig with Curtis Rockwell at Joy Beans in Tyrone, PA, on October 1st, 2004. More information will follow as the date approaches.

Paul is also pleased to annouce that Curtis has agreed to play a show with Paul in the South Jersey area on some Saturday in November or December prior to December 18th. At the moment Paul is still shopping for a venue to host this gig... stay tuned...

I am pleased to report the re-launch of my performing career with two successful gigs in central Pennsylvania last weekend.

On Friday, August 13, 2004, Curtis Rockwell and I played Joy Beans in Tyrone PA. I opened the show, playing and singing five songs, including two originals, "E-Blue" and "Songs of Death." Curtis then took the proverbial baton and played and sang for two full hours, impressing me mightily with his repertoire and delivery. Owner/operators The Andersons were visibly pleased with my efforts, with Carol Anderson inviting me back either on my own or with Curt again.
